The 28-year-old bantamweight competitor confirmed his administrative withdrawal via a formal publication on his verified social media channels.

According to the athlete, the executive decision to postpone the bout was finalized following a rigorous review session with his coaching staff, management team, and father. The primary operational factors prompting the withdrawal involve severe post-fight trauma compiled from his previous appearance, compounded by an acute clinical diagnosis of maxillary sinusitis. "Medical personnel verified that the pathology cannot be fully eradicated within the remaining training timeline, and competing under these physiological constraints carries a high risk of systemic complications," Abbasov detailed.

Furthermore, Abbasov highlighted that his projected opponent, Brazilian striker Vinicius Oliveira, represents a highly ranked and dangerous asset, making a short-notice debut without a full training camp tactically non-viable.
