**Turkmenistan welcomes participants of the UN LLDC3 Conference**
The National Tourist Zone “Avaza” is hosting participants and guests of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), as reported by the newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan.
At Turkmenbashi International Airport, forum participants are welcomed according to the national traditions of Turkmen hospitality. A festive atmosphere reigns in both the coastal city and the “Avaza” tourist zone — evidenced by decorated streets, banners, and welcome signs.
The conference features a rich program that includes political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian events. Business meetings, themed exhibitions, and national days of Central Asian countries are scheduled to take place.
The significance of the conference is further elevated by the declaration of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust”, the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. These milestones underscore Turkmenistan’s commitment to the principles of peaceful coexistence and international cooperation.
The main goal of the Avaza gathering is to create a platform for identifying effective solutions and building partnerships that will help landlocked developing countries overcome existing challenges and realize their full potential.
The forum’s agenda includes discussions on land transport and connectivity, youth policy, sustainable energy, and the circular economy. Special attention will be given to cultural and humanitarian events, including a Friendship Concert and national celebration days of Central Asian nations.
