On May 7, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United States, in collaboration with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), hosted a high-level event titled "Economic Development of Turkmenistan within Regional and Global Economic Outlooks" at the IMF headquarters in Washington, D.C. The recently established Turkmen-American Business Cooperation Association (TABCA) served as the official partner for this strategic gathering. The event aimed to showcase Turkmenistan’s economic progress and explore avenues for enhanced financial and commercial partnership.

The forum attracted over 80 distinguished guests, including Ambassador of Turkmenistan Esen Aydogdyev, U.S. Ambassador to Turkmenistan Elizabeth Rood, and IMF Executive Director Patrik Loszewski. Key representatives from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the State Department, the World Bank, CIPE, and the American-Turkmen Business Council were also in attendance. This gathering of top-tier diplomats and financial experts provided a comprehensive platform for discussing macroeconomic trends and the investment climate in Central Asia.

Discussions focused on expanding trade and investment cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States, with a particular emphasis on fostering direct B2B relations. Participants analyzed the potential for private sector growth and the role of international financial institutions in supporting Turkmenistan's development goals. The dialogue underscored the importance of regional stability and sustainable economic practices as cornerstones for attracting international capital and advanced technology to the Turkmen market.
