Turkmenistan is finalizing its logistical frameworks for the upcoming winter wheat harvest, a critical component of the national agricultural calendar. During the latest digital session of the Cabinet of Ministers, the exact commencement dates for the harvesting operations across various administrative divisions were formally approved. The schedule is strategically structured to correspond with the distinct regional microclimates and crop maturation stages.

The harvesting operations will officially inner-start on June 3 in the Ahal, Lebap, and Mary regions, where early crop readiness allows for immediate field interventions. Consequently, the farming communities in the Balkan and Dashoguz regions are scheduled to deploy their heavy machinery on June 10. This phased operational timeline is designed to optimize the deployment of combine harvesters and maximize total yield collection efficiency.

Prior to the launch of the machinery, specialized field seminars and technical workshops will be organized in each province, bringing together experienced machine operators, agronomists, scientific experts, and local farmers. These preparatory sessions will address continuous fleet maintenance, fuel supply management, and safety protocols at procurement centers. In keeping with long-standing cultural customs, respected community elders will ceremonially initiate the first cut of the harvest.
