Turkmenistan Airlines to Operate 6 Flights a Day on Ashgabat-Turkmenbashi Route
Turkmenistan Airlines has increased the frequency of flights to Turkmenbashi International Airport to 6 flights per day, the carrier's website reports.
Since August 11, additional flights on the Ashgabat - Turkmenbashi - Ashgabat route have been introduced to meet the growing demand from citizens wishing to relax in the health and tourist centers of the Avaza resort area, the report says.
At the same time, direct flights have been established between Balkanabat Airport and all regions of Turkmenistan. The new routes connect Balkanabat with Ashgabat, Turkmenabad, Dashoguz, Mary and Kerki, which will provide convenient access to the sanatoriums of the city of Balkanabat in the Balkan region, the airline said.

To meet public demand, the Balkan Regional Consumer Societies Union has opened more than 100 mobile trade points across all districts and cities of the region. These mobile shops will operate until January 3, 2026, according to the «Türkmenistan» newspaper.
