Medina Sopytaganova, a student at Magtymguly Turkmen State University, has emerged as the winner of the "Homo Dicens" International Russian Language Olympiad. Hosted by the Moscow City University and the Russian Institute of Humanities, the competition concluded with the Turkmen representative securing the first-place position and being awarded a prestigious First Degree Diploma.

Currently in her fourth year at the Faculty of History, Sopytaganova is a seasoned competitor with a track record of excellence in various national and international academic contests. Her latest achievement underscores the effectiveness of the higher education system in Turkmenistan and the commitment to academic excellence among the nation's youth.

The international tournament featured a competitive field of nearly 200 participants representing diverse nations, including Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Serbia, Moldova, and several Central Asian states. Standing out among such a broad international demographic, the victory of the Turkmen student highlights her exceptional command of the subject and scholarly rigor.

The Olympiad consisted of two rigorous stages designed to test linguistic proficiency and analytical skills. Sopytaganova successfully navigated through both phases, earning high marks from the expert jury.
