The 11th International Cultural and Educational Forum titled "Children of the Commonwealth," organized by the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations, was successfully hosted in Tajikistan. The summit brought together youth delegations from nine CIS states, with Turkmenistan being represented by talented schoolchildren aged 14 to 17 from Ashgabat and various regional provinces. The Turkmen delegation was supervised by Sapargul Toylyeva, Principal of Secondary School No. 47 in Ashgabat, and Muhammet Inermyradov, Deputy Principal of Secondary School No. 146.

As part of the main events, a dedicated "Day of Turkmenistan" was organized, during which the young delegates introduced an immersive cultural showcase. The students shared historical insights and highlighted the economic, tourism, and oil and gas industrial capacities of modern Turkmenistan, alongside reciting poems in the languages of the participating nations. The presentation placed heavy emphasis on national heritage, introducing foreign peers to traditional Turkmen festivities, national attire, cuisine, the ancient art of carpet weaving, Akhal-Teke horses, and Alabay dogs. The exhibition culminated in a dynamic performance of the historic "Kushtdepdi" dance.

During the forum, the Turkmen youth visited the Parliament of Tajikistan, where they were formally received by the Chairman of the Majlis, Fayzali Saidzoda. The students also embarked on educational tours of major historical landmarks, including the "Istiklol" architectural complex, the "Kohi Navruz" palace, and the National Museum of Tajikistan. Furthermore, the forum's interactive agenda allowed the children to engage in meet-and-greets with Olympic champions, masterclasses led by honored folk artists, intellectual Olympiads, and practical workshops centered on the scientific and engineering heritage of the East.
