Turkmenistan’s football has a great future, said FIFA technical expert Svetlana Kashuba. This was reported by the official website of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan.

Coaching courses for the “C” license category have started in Ashgabat. The training program is designed to grant licenses that allow coaching children aged 6 to 12. FIFA technical experts Svetlana Kashuba and Rovshan Meredov are overseeing the process.

"I believe that football in Turkmenistan has a great future. Achieving major success takes time," Kashuba said in an interview with the FFT press service.

The expert, who visited Turkmenistan for the first time, said she was impressed by the country’s well-developed infrastructure and the presence of large stadiums. “In recent years, football development in Turkmenistan has become noticeable because experienced specialists are managing the sport,” she emphasized.

To young Turkmen footballers and coaches, Kashuba advised: love football, don’t be afraid of challenges, stay physically fit, and enjoy the game. “Then success will favor you,” concluded the FIFA technical expert.
