The two-day forum served as an integrated platform for celebrating regional folklore, enabling participating states to exchange heritage values and strengthen creative ties.

The cultural interests of Turkmenistan were represented by a premier national folklore group operating under the structural framework of the domestic industrial sector. The delegation’s participation in this high-profile cross-border event reflects the state’s ongoing initiatives to internationalize its rich cultural assets.

The ensemble delivered a high-energy performance that combined intricate choreography, traditional vocal arrangements, and acoustic musical compositions. The performance highlighted the authenticity of the nation's historical arts, illustrating how ancient cultural themes are preserved within modern scenic frameworks.

Engaging in these multilateral cultural forums remains a core component of the country’s humanitarian diplomacy strategy. The international platform provided valuable opportunities for local performers to build professional networks and foster cross-cultural dialogue with global artistic communities.

Specialists at the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, led by Durdymyrat Gadamov and Altyn Rahmanova, have developed a new-generation bio-agent designed to neutralize soil methane emissions. The solution utilizes local bacteria adapted to the regional climate, which harness methane monooxygenase to convert methane into carbon dioxide and water.

Methane is a major contributor to global warming, with a heat-trapping capacity in the atmosphere significantly higher than that of carbon dioxide. The newly developed bio-agent features high efficiency in industrially congested areas, cost-effectiveness through the use of local raw materials, and complete safety for human health and the environment.

This scientific breakthrough aligns with Turkmenistan's sustainable development strategy, supporting its commitments under the Global Methane Pledge to enhance environmental oversight in the energy sector.
