A delegation from Turkmenistan has been invited to participate in the 11th "White Water of Siberia 2026" International Cultural and Sports Rafting Forum, scheduled for late June in the Altai Republic. Organized by Rossotrudnichestvo, the event serves as a premier gathering for water sports enthusiasts and young leaders from around the world. The inclusion of Turkmen athletes highlights the growing international interest in regional sports exchange and humanitarian cooperation.

The ten-day program features challenging rafting expeditions along the Katun River, known for its powerful currents and scenic landscapes. Representatives from 14 nations, including Brazil, Chile, Serbia, and several Central Asian states, will work together to navigate high-difficulty rapids. Beyond the physical challenge, the forum aims to foster the development of new cross-border tourism routes and ecological travel initiatives.

A central highlight of the forum is the "Friendship of Nations" rafting trek, spanning the distance between the Bolshoy Ilgumen and the Ursul River. Participants will engage in professional workshops focused on organizing recreational rafting and developing collaborative tourism products. This collaborative environment is designed to promote active lifestyles and strengthen the ties between the diverse participating cultures through shared athletic experiences.

The invitation is extended to individuals aged 18 to 40 who demonstrate a keen interest in outdoor sports and international dialogue. Applications are being accepted through local representative offices until April 30.
