The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) reported a highly active week, registering a total of 34 major transactions. The cumulative value of these export deals surpassed the $9 million USD milestone, reflecting strong international interest in Turkmen-produced commodities and industrial goods.

Export activities were largely dominated by the petrochemical sector. Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Georgia secured contracts for the purchase of polypropylene and base oils manufactured by the "Türkmennebit" State Concern. These high-quality petroleum derivatives continue to be key drivers of Turkmenistan’s export trade on the global market.

Beyond the energy sector, significant demand was recorded for light industrial products and agricultural goods. Entrepreneurs from the UAE, Turkey, Estonia, and Kyrgyzstan purchased a diverse range of items, including denim apparel, cotton yarn, various textiles, regenerated fiber, Karakul wool, and wheat flour. This trade volume underscores the growing competitiveness and variety of products offered by Turkmen manufacturers.

Domestic market activity remained equally robust, highlighting strong internal demand for raw materials and industrial supplies. Local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene, base oils, and technical sulfur from the "Türkmennebit" and "Türkmengaz" state concerns. Furthermore, significant quantities of raw fatty acids, silk and cotton fabrics, dyed terry cloth, and flour were traded domestically. The total value of these internal transactions exceeded 229.4 million manats, demonstrating continued strength in local market development.
