Sardar Azmoun Named Best Player of UAE League
Shabab Al-Ahli striker Sardar Azmoun has been named the Most Valuable Player of the 2024/25 UAE Pro League season, receiving the prestigious Golden Ball award.
The award ceremony took place in the United Arab Emirates. Azmoun played a pivotal role in helping Shabab Al-Ahli secure the league title, emerging as one of the team’s key figures.
During the league season, the Iranian forward of Turkmen origin appeared in 21 matches, scoring 11 goals and providing 6 assists. Across all competitions, he played 39 games, tallying 26 goals and 10 assists.
Azmoun is a regular member of the Iran national team and is regarded as one of its top strikers.
