Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, departed for an official visit to the Republic of Austria. At the Ashgabat International Airport, the Hero-Arkadag was seen off by government officials. This mission is expected to further solidify the growing strategic partnership between Ashgabat and Vienna.

Following a few hours of travel, the National Leader arrived in Vienna, where he was warmly welcomed by high-ranking Austrian officials and representatives of the Turkmen diplomatic mission. The visit’s agenda includes several top-level meetings focused on expanding economic cooperation, trade turnover, and cultural-humanitarian exchanges between the two sovereign nations.

This official visit underscores the mutual desire to reach new milestones in bilateral interaction.
