Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Construction and Architecture has announced a tender for the construction of a regulated irrigation system linking the Karakum Canal to the Gurtly residential area in Ashgabat. The announcement was published in the Türkmenistan newspaper.

The project aims to provide a stable water supply for landscaping and irrigation in the newly developed district. The system will support greening initiatives and enhance the overall urban environment — including lawns, walkways, and public spaces.

Detailed technical specifications and the full scope of work will be outlined in the tender documents.

Applications from interested contractors are being accepted by the Ministry’s Department of Market Research and Foreign Economic Relations until September 19, 2025.
