Turkmenistan’s official delegation is set to participate in the 17th International Economic Forum "Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum 2026," scheduled for May 14–15 at the KazanExpo International Exhibition Center. This major event is widely recognized as a premier platform for fostering strategic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The forum plays a crucial role in promoting global economic integration and trade dialogue.

The forum's agenda includes comprehensive sessions and business meetings focused on trade, investment, energy, and transportation logistics. Key discussions will also center on digital technologies, healthcare, construction, and the textile industry. These specialized workshops are designed to pave the way for the implementation of innovative projects and the enhancement of cross-border economic ties among participating nations.

A centerpiece of the event will be the "Russia — Islamic World: Cooperation Expo," where Turkmenistan will showcase its achievements in a dedicated National Pavilion. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan is responsible for the professional preparation and content management of the pavilion. The exhibit is designed to reflect the nation’s cultural heritage alongside its modern industrial and economic milestones.

Bayern Munich secured their 12th German Supercup title after defeating Borussia Dortmund 2:1 at Signal Iduna Park. Vincent Kompany's side took early control of the match with first-half goals from Nathaniel Brown and Michael Olise.

Fábio Silva scored the sole goal for Dortmund in the 75th minute, while Ramy Bensebaini was sent off with a direct red card in the 90th minute. With this victory, Bayern Munich further solidifies its record for the most Supercup titles in German football history.

Looking ahead to the new Bundesliga campaign, Bayern Munich will face Stuttgart on August 28, while Borussia Dortmund opens against Hamburg on August 29.
