Ministry of Internal Affairs to Purchase Speed Control Equipment and Spare Parts
12 May. 13:44The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan has announced an official tender for the procurement of speed measurement devices and necessary spare parts for vehicles. This move is part of the national strategy to enhance road safety and integrate advanced monitoring technologies into the country's traffic management systems.
Prospective bidders, including local and international firms, are invited to submit their proposals for Lot No. 4 by June 11, 2026. The application process is being managed at the Officers' House of the Ministry of Defense in Ashgabat. A participation fee of $200 is required for organizations interested in competing for the contract.
The acquisition of this specialized equipment aims to provide law enforcement with more accurate tools for detecting traffic violations and managing road safety more effectively. By investing in modern speed control infrastructure, Turkmenistan continues to focus on reducing road accidents and ensuring a safer environment for both drivers and pedestrians across the nation.
