During an official meeting held in Warsaw, the Head of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan, A. Sazakov, and the Commander of the Polish Border Guard, Robert Bagan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of migration. This document is designed to elevate the interaction between the agencies of both nations to a qualitatively new level.

According to the newly signed memorandum, the parties plan to actively engage in the exchange of information and advanced operational practices. The document also provides for the development of professional contacts between specialists of the two agencies, alongside the regular organization of joint consultations and specialized expert meetings.

During the talks, the parties expanded their focus beyond bilateral ties to thoroughly examine the future prospects of mutually beneficial partnership within the framework of global migration trends. Both sides confirmed that joint initiatives in this field will contribute to strengthening security management.
