The Lebap province stage of the "Çalsana, bagşy!" creative competition was successfully organized for young dutar players and traditional singers aged between 18 and 34. This cultural initiative is jointly managed by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography. The artistic review serves as a key component of the larger nationwide contest for the President of Turkmenistan’s "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry" award.

The cultural event took place at the Seyitnazar Seydi State Music and Drama Theater, featuring a stage specially decorated with traditional national motifs. The young performers demonstrated their vocal and instrumental talents by rendering classical Turkmen folk songs as well as compositions by renowned historical master musicians. A panel of judges, consisting of experienced mentors and veteran folk artists, evaluated the technical and expressive quality of each performance.

In the instrumental dutar performance category, the highest honors were awarded to Bagul Batyrova, a student at the Danatar Ovezov Turkmen State Special Musical School, and Jeyhun Charyyev, a teacher at the children's art school in the town of Kerkichi, Dovletli district. Their advanced mastery of the traditional two-stringed instrument earned substantial praise from the evaluation committee.

For the folk singing category, the first-place finishes went to Merjen Amandurdyeva, also a student at the capital's special musical school, and Esen Atamyradov, representing the Lebap Province Special School of Arts. Following their regional victories, these four promising musicians have secured the right to advance to the upcoming national final stage of the competition.
