Disneyland Paris has officially inaugurated its newest thematic zone, "The World of Frozen," as part of a massive 2-billion-euro expansion project. According to reports from the Associated Press, this development marks a significant milestone in the park’s evolution, aiming to bring the enchanting world of the hit animation to life. The centerpiece of the new area is a stunning recreation of Elsa’s Ice Palace and the city of Arendelle, designed with authentic Scandinavian architectural influences.

This transformation is the largest project in the park's 34-year history. As part of the overhaul, the "Walt Disney Studios Park" has been rebranded as "Disney Adventure World." The project falls under Disney’s global 60-billion-dollar investment strategy, aimed at enhancing guest experiences across its international resorts. Notably, this is the first major milestone under the leadership of Josh D’Amaro, who took over as the head of the division on March 18.

French President Emmanuel Macron highlighted the economic importance of the expansion, noting that Disneyland remains one of Europe’s premier tourist destinations. He emphasized that the enlargement of the park is expected to create approximately 1,000 new jobs, further boosting local employment and tourism revenue.

Since its opening in 1992, Disneyland Paris has welcomed over 445 million visitors, with total investments exceeding 13 billion euros over the decades. The addition of "The World of Frozen" is anticipated to significantly increase its global appeal, drawing millions of fans eager to experience the magic of Arendelle firsthand. This project underscores Disney's commitment to innovation and its long-term vision for the French resort.
