The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has departed for a friendly visit to the People's Republic of China at the invitation of President Xi Jinping. This diplomatic mission aims to reinforce the long-standing friendship and strategic partnership that exist between the two nations. As reported by the "Watan" news program, the visit serves as a cornerstone for enhancing high-level cooperation across multiple sectors.

Prior to his departure from Ashgabat International Airport, the Chairman engaged in discussions with leaders of the country’s political parties and public organizations. During the dialogue, the National Leader emphasized that bilateral relations have reached a qualitatively new level in recent years.
