Calvin Harris Enters Guinness World Records with 1.6 Million Concert Attendees
01 Oct. 13:09Scottish DJ and music producer Calvin Harris has officially set a new Guinness World Record for the highest attendance at a solo DJ performance, drawing approximately 1.6 million people to his concert in São Paulo, Brazil. Held in February, the massive event required temporary street closures across the city, with extreme heat creating challenges for crowd management. Harris performed wearing a Brazilian national football team jersey customized with the name "Calvinho," playing global hits like "One Kiss" and "We Found Love."
This achievement adds to Harris's previous Guinness World Records. He previously set records for having the most top-10 UK singles from a single studio album, as well as holding the title for the highest-earning DJ in a single year, generating approximately $67.4 million (£51 million) between 2015 and 2016.

Seismic First: Scientists Officially Confirm Natural Earthquakes in Lithuania
10 Oct. 10:55The Geological Survey of Lithuania, supported by seismologists from the University of Helsinki, has officially confirmed the occurrence of natural tectonic earthquakes within the country’s borders for the first time. The seismic events, measuring 2.4 and 2.7 on the magnitude scale, occurred in western Lithuania near the Gargždai fault zone in December 2025. Furthermore, updated analysis of international seismic data allowed experts to reclassify a previously ambiguous 2015 tremor as a natural earthquake rather than human-induced activity.
Although the low-intensity quakes caused no structural damage or casualties, they mark the first instrumentally verified natural tectonic events recorded in modern Lithuanian history.
