National Tourist Zone “Avaza” is Ready to Host LLDC3 International Forum
From August 4 to 8, 2025, the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3) will be held in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza”. Turkmenistan, hosting such a significant event for the first time, is actively finalizing preparations for this high-level international forum.
The five-day event will encompass political, diplomatic, economic, cultural, and humanitarian dimensions. The conference agenda includes plenary sessions, thematic roundtables, and specialized forums focusing on the most pressing global issues, such as South-West regional cooperation, parliamentary dialogue, the role of civil society, youth engagement, and gender leadership.
In addition, the program features business meetings, thematic exhibitions, cultural events, and Central Asian Culture Days. A number of side events will be organized by international organizations, participating countries, and Turkmen representatives. Key topics will include land transportation, building international trust, youth policy, sustainable energy, and the circular economy.
Leaders from 32 countries, government representatives, UN member states, and heads of the organization are expected to attend. Also participating will be international organizations, members of parliament, financial institutions, civil society organizations, and private sector representatives. The forum aims to support landlocked developing countries in overcoming challenges, unlocking their potential, and creating new opportunities for development.
